HELPFUL HINTS
Don’t pack for your child (they won’t know what they have or where it is). Mittens are warmer than gloves. Pj’s can be worn as longjohns if you don’t have any Sometimes camping can be a wet and cold learning experience, because you did not bring the proper equipment. It is better to bring too much gear rather than not enough.

Remember we will be outside for most of this camp. So please dress warmly.

*Third year cubs have the option to sleep outside with the scouts in the snowbank or quinze. They will need foam pads. Self-inflating mattress can crack in the cold. A winter sleeping bag is a must. Please contact a scout leader if you need any assistance with gear. They are more than willing to help.
